Over 900 people attended last week’s “An Evening of Wine and Roses” event hosted by Newton Memorial Hospital and held at the contemporary Morris Crossroads Corporate Campus. Despite the recession, the event boasted a record-breaking year for attendance including celebrity chefs Rachel Ray and restaurateur David Burke. The guest were treated to a star studded evening of gourmet cuisine and fine wine and spirits from community purveyors. The event raised over $100,000 for the 2010 Annual Giving Program to purchase new imaging equipment for the hospital keeping the hospitals technology on the cutting-edge. Raffle prizes for the night included a brand new Mercedes E350C valued at $50,000 as well as a trip to San Fransisco. Newton Memorial Hospital and the DavidHenry Agency continue to work together on communicating with the community and driving overall brand awareness.
